TECHNICAL AND USAGE SPEC. OF SHUTTERING PLYWOOD
Definition and Areas of Usage of Product :
These are wide surface panels obtained by pressing under high pressure sheets of suitable thickness, obtained by peeling method, after they have been subjected to drying operation and they have sized and placed with the fibers perp. to each other.
They are used in R/C (reinforced concrete) formworks as surface elements, in wooden house technology for slab, wall and roof applications. They are also used in different areas like furniture and Transportation.

Size: 1250mm x 2500mm
Thickness:15-18-20-21mm
Number of veeners: 9-11-13
Density: Exotic (African Wood): 600-700 kg/m3, Local Wood: 400-500 kg/m3
Functional Properties of Product:
In case that it is used in R/C formwork, the concrete surfaces are obtained very smooth and undeformed. The smooth and high quality surfaces provide high level waterproof especially in film coated products. The cement liquid loss remains at lowest levels because of large panel dimensions. Consequently, fairfaced concrete is obtained. Thus, there is no need to plaster. These wide surfaces operate without deformation because they are all kiln-dried and with multi-levels compressed under high pressure.
Materials Used in Manufacturing the Product:
Wood : Exotic (African), Exotic + local wood.
Glue: In products without film coating, Melamine + Urea-Formaldehite mixture with hot application used under high pressure. In products with film coating, Fenol + Glue with Fenol-Formaldehite mixture with hot application used under high pressure.
Film Coating: Upper and lower surfaces 120gr/m2 dark brown fenolic film coating.
Sides: Epoxy or acrylic based paints.
Stocking and Usage of Product:

High revolution saws and drills should be used in construction sites for cutting and drilling. |

The drilled or cut surfaces should be painted by epoxy or acrylic paint. |

The unused holes (screw and tie-rod) should be plastered by filler materials or paint. |
|
A good quality formwork oil should be applied before every usage and plywood should be cleaned after usage. |
|
When stocking the product, it should be paid attention to protect it from rain or sunshine. |
|
Our products without film can be used 40-50 times and the ones with film 50-75 times unless they are subjected to physical shocks.
